Honolulu Marathon 2011

This year, I was so fortunate to be able to provide post event massage to some very inspiring people at the Honolulu Marathon. The weather was wild- rain, wind, sun, all at once sometimes, and the lines were around the corner, but it was a blast! Pre and post event massage can benefit anyone, and this especially holds true for athletes. Pre-event massage warms up the muscles and helps minimize strain and/or injury. Post event massage is great to help alleviate cramps, stressed muscles and relaxes spasms.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I look forward to participating again next year- who knows, I may even run it myself!
